Summer: God is calling us to live in the place of fullness, like an abundant spiritual summer. Pray for the Church to walk in the fulness of everything God has obtained for us. Fullness of relationship with Christ, gifts, anointings, heaven’s resources, and fruitfulness.
Protection: Intercede for those walking through fire of warfare right now. Declare God’s provision of protection over His people. Ask for supernatural deliverance like was experienced in the book of Acts. Pray that we all grow in overcoming!
Healing Nations: May Canada play a lead peacemaking and healing of nations role in this hour with God giving us wisdom, justice, and compassion. Pray for our Prime Minister, and his cabinet, pray for the security of our borders that keeps out those with malicious intent and allows in legitimate refugees and immigrants.
Vision: Pray for heavenly vision to fill the Church and come into sharp focus. Pray for the Canadian Prophetic Council meetings at the beginning of October, to be filled with a spirit of revelation. Pray for the True North Conference to also flow in this. Pray for all those seeking God with vision in their heart, that this preparation stage would yield great advances for the kingdom.
Evangelism: Cry out for the gift and anointing of evangelism will be liberally poured out on the whole Church of Canada. Decree over the people of God in the nation: “Be fruitful (spiritually) and multiply!” Seek God for all the various ways the gospel will be shared this fall to bear abundant fruit.
Pray Again - It’s time to pray again- with new faith- for the things that have been long term prayer needs. Family salvations, churches that have struggled, health issues, elusive breakthroughs of all kinds. God is moving and answering.
Unity - Cry out for Christ-centered unity to rise across the nation. Pray for city-wide movements to prosper, for inter-church ministries to thrive. Ask the Father for a building up of authentic koinonia and love for each other that supersedes denominational, generational or ethnic separation in the Body of Christ.
Harvest - Intercede for the lost with a heart full of compassion and faith. Pray that God will restore the awareness of eternity and the urgency to share the gospel in our generation. Agree with the Lord that NOW laborers will be thrust out into the ripe Canadian harvest. Lift up the communities least evangelized.
Persecuted Church - Pray for our brothers and sisters who are facing horrific persecution in this hour. Pray for God to protect them, but also for them to be victorious overcomers in the midst of the fire.
Boldness - Seek the Lord for the Canadian Church to rise in boldness. Let there be bold faith, bold preaching of the gospel and bold vision in this hour. Let all fear of man, intimidation and indecision give way to the power of the Kingdom.
Love: Pray for the Body of Christ to go to a new level in love. We cannot afford to just love as the world does, let radical love become the norm! Mt 5:43-46
Fruitful: Ask the Lord for fruit and greater fruit. Contend for life to spring up from waste places, for barrenness to be transformed into abundance - in all places of ministry and the life of the Church. Isa 54:1-3, Jn 15:8
Gideon’s Army: The Lord is preparing our hands for war, and mobilizing a fearless, “Gideon’s Army” who will fight for the harvest. Pray for labourers to be thrust out into the harvest, pray for those who will labour in prayer to be effective and powerful. Lu 10:2, Jas 5:16
Canada Day: As we come into a time where we celebrate Canada’s birthday, let’s pray this nation will be a place of John 17 unity, and a place that releases God’s healing to the nations. Canada, take your place! Rev 22:2, Jhn 17:23
International Conflicts: The Ukraine and Iraq are in crisis. Pray for Canada to respond in God’s wisdom and with His strategy. Pray for these countries, that God would push back darkness and create a stable, free, environment for the gospel to thrive.
Toronto: Continue to intercede that God to pour out his love and power upon Toronto as the global LGBT community gathers to celebrate.
