United Generations- Pray for a new level of unity of heart and mind in the Church of Canada. May it be across all denominations and people groups but also between the young and old. Pray for all Christians to join into the mission of God in this hour, pray for those who have disqualified themselves because of age to re-engage.
Boldness- Pray the apostolic prayer for boldness! (Act 4:29,30) Boldness to share the gospel, to live the gospel, and to pray prayers that require a big God to answer. Pray for all the intimidation that has muted the Church to lift and for the Lord to empower us with wisdom, kindness and courage.
Wind of God- It’s time to set our sails! Pray for the Church to see clearly where God is moving and partner with Him. Stand in the gap for the Church to be set free from all striving and our need to perform. May we join in to what God is doing in a posture of rest and faith.
Faithfulness- The Lord always rewards faithfulness. Intercede for the Canadian Church to continue in obedient, wholehearted, faithfulness— even when it we can’t yet see the fruit. Pray for strength and encouragement for those who are loosing heart. Pray for the demonic assignment of discouragement to break.
Forgiveness- Seek the Lord for an outpouring of grace upon the Church to deeply forgive all those that have wronged us. Intercede that we would be Christlike in our forgiveness and that offence, bitterness and resentment would be uprooted wherever it has gained a foothold.
Easter - Pray for God to move in great power this Easter weekend. Pray for the gospel to be preached and Jesus revealed with tremendous anointing. Pray for rededications, healings, salvations and deliverances. Pray for resurrection power to be tangibly present as the Lord moves upon hearts where hope and faith that has been dying, and bring new life.
Forerunning - God is arising up a forerunning company of believers in the spirit of John the Baptist (He must increase, I must decrease), to prepare the way for revival. Pray for these new sounds of: “repentance” and “behold the Lamb” to be received and awaken many. (Mt 3:2,8, Jn 1:29)
Psalms 126 - Lift up the promises in this psalm in intercession. It’s a psalm that has been prophetically given the nation in this hour. Momentum of miracles and breakthroughs has been increasing, pray this continues and even accelerates more.
Home - Contend for the call to “come home” to be heard. This is a call to the prodigals, but also to the Church that may have drifted from the truth of scripture or a simple devotion and dependance upon Jesus.
Worship - Intercede for a fresh awakening of worship. Pray for the grace to give God a “sacrifice of praise”, even in the midst of times of great loss, heartbreak and confusion. May the Church be gloriously captivated with Jesus and may the stones in Canada not need to cry out! (Lu 19:40)
