Humility - Pray for the Canadian Church to go much deeper in genuine humility. Humility that’s not for show, but is authentic and so honouring of God. Intercede for the culture of confessing our sins one to another to be restored to the Church. Pray that we would shift from following the world’s ways of ego-driven success to the kingdom way of making Jesus famous, even if we are not seen.
Restoration - Cry out for the restoration of the power and the presence of God that we have known in past seasons of revival. Intercede for the restoration of faith for those who have lost hope that God will move. It’s a “do it again” season!

One Thing - Pray for IHOP’s New Year’s gathering that is cutting a new path with a call to simplicity of devotion to Christ. Pray that this “reset”, (or as we have been hearing in Canada- “recalibrate”) will become a global movement of the Church returning to a singular, adoring, focus on Jesus.
Church Plants - With the hundreds of new church plants that have been launched in Canada, much prayer is needed to undergird them. Contend for these new missionary churches which are seeking to get established in areas of our nation where there is a desperate need for God. 

PRAY FOR THE CHURCH

The scriptures reveal what God’s idea of His Church looks like. Each month we will focus on a different aspect of the Church, as revealed in scripture, and pray for that aspect to be revived.

Let's pray that: 

• we live more intentionally in communion with God
• we see our lives as wholly dedicated to serve Him
• we become men and women of intercession and worship
• we carry His word in our hearts and speak it without mixture
