• Abiding - The Lord has been highlighting the truth that all true fruitfulness comes out of the place of abiding in the Vine. Pray for the Church as we minister this summer and look toward the fall, that all our efforts would be sourced in intimacy with Christ.
• Small Groups - The Lord spoke to the Canadian Prophetic Council at the beginning of April that small groups would be where the “weight of the Spirit” would be in the next season. Pray that we would see the potential of small groups through God’s eyes, that they would be dynamic places of discipleship, prayer, care, worship and mission.
• Families- These are days of harvest. Pray for whole families to come to faith, intercede for all unbelieving family members.
• Buildings - With the huge disruption of Covid, pray for buildings that were formerly financially out of reach to become centres of worship and ministry as we come out of isolation. Pray for the Church to become more visible and accessible in the public square. Consider the word in January “Rezone, Renovate, Restructure” — we are now hearing, “Repurpose, relocate, revive”!
• Discernment - God is speaking to His Church with wisdom and peace, yet the internet gives platform for all who say they have a prophetic word-- without the vital weighing or testing that scripture requires. As a result, fear and confusion are increasing. Contend now for the Church to grow in discernment. Cry out for mature leaders to be given stronger voices, bringing wisdom from above to the Body of Christ.
