Quebec: The Father is once again highlighting Quebec for prayer. St. Jean Baptiste Day is almost upon us, (June 24) and Jacques Parizeau’s passing has signaled the end of an era in Quebec to many. Let us cry out for Quebec to be swept into the fire of passionate love for Jesus and the fullness of her destiny.
First Peoples: The Truth and Reconciliation Commission has released their report and it is now time for Canada to respond. Pray for a wise, just, compassionate and integral response from the nation and for the heart of Jesus to be revealed through the Church. Please pray for the First Peoples, for whom for many, this report has reopened wounds. Pray especially on June 21, National Aboriginal Day.
Heirloom Seeds of Revival: Faith for revival is springing up all over Canada and prayer is being activated. It’s as if potent revival seeds have been waiting for this hour and we are now seeing the first green shoots. Please see Peggy Kennedy’s recent word about “Expired Desires”. Stand in the gap that nothing will impede or uproot these seedlings! Contend for many more seeds to sprout and for the nation to once again host the fire of revival.
Faith, Hope & Love: Intercede for the Church to increase and abound in these three essential fruits of the Spirit.
Election 2015: Much prayer is being offered for the fall election and it’s imperative the prayer remains strong and fervent right to the end. Pray for the Church to be informed and engaged in this election and for every believer to vote for righteousness. See Rob Parker’s new booklet to help with this.
