1. Awakening - The recent tragedy in Humboldt has moved the nation to sorrow and created space for spiritual conversations. Pray that the Father will use this and other events as catalysts for a national spiritual awakening. May prayer for true, holy, revival also be awakened as harvest is birthed in the prayer closet.
2. Unity- While our nation is becoming more divided and polarized, Jesus is calling us to contend for unprecedented unity in the Church!  Pray for all unity to be Christ-centred so it will be healthy and enduring. May we walk in humility and grace for one another’s differences. 
3. Word of God- Contend for a new love of the scriptures to rise up in the Church. Intercede for the Holy Spirit to open the Word to the Church and reveal Jesus, life and the truth that  sets us free. Intercede for the Church to happily submit to the truth of scripture. Also pray for a new level of prophetic gifting that is pure, powerful and brings clarity to the Body of Christ. 

PRAY THE LORD'S PRAYER
Each month we will focus on a different petition from the Lord's Prayer. This month our directive is: 

Forgive Us Our Sins

•  Shine your light into our hearts, show us if there be any wicked way in us. (Ps 139:24)
  
• We repent for wherever we have fallen short of the first commandment to love You,         and the second command to love our neighbour as ourselves. (Mt 22:36-40)
• Restore the fear of the Lord, which is to hate evil— to the Canadian Church. (Prov 8:13)
