AUGUST PRAYER LEADER'S SUMMARY

This
month’Äôs conference call although in the height of
’Äúcottage season’Äù, saw a strong representation from
Quebec and we heard very encouraging reports of the
’ÄúD-Day’Äù Province-wide prayer event (June 6). Also,
reports about multiple prayer and evangelism teams
from across the nation that have targeted Quebec’Äôs
400 year celebrations and powerfully ministered in
the last months. Keep praying for Quebec!
Endurance: City prayer leaders from all over Canada are keenly aware of the need for endurance to finish the race at this time. How easy would it be to be thankful for the blessings we have received thus far, and settle- rather than going for the fullness! This is like the decision Jacob had to make, would he settle for Leah or endure for his beloved? (Gen 29:25-27) Read More...

Clean out the Temple: So
many are hearing the same sound: God is cleaning out
His Temple (His people) so that the magnitude of what
He wants to release will have room. There is a
greater sense of the fear of the Lord and an
awareness of his shaking. He is making room for the

This month the conference
call was bursting with testimonies of how God is
awakening a national hunger for Him, along with the
increase of supernatural activity-especially
healings. Clearly He is answering the prayers of His
people and the winds of change are blowing!

MAY PRAYER LEADER'S SUMMARY

In the Time of Rain, ask for Rain (Zec 10:1)
Holy Desperation: We are desperate for God, desperate for souls. This was the overarching sound that came from this month’Äôs Ears to Hear call. This is a desperation that is infused with faith, looking to the Lord with unrelenting hunger and expectation. It is a desperation that sees the lost with new eyes of compassion and urgency.
Healing: As God is moving powerfully with healing and miracles in Florida, there is new faith for healing to break out in Canada! We are in fact hearing wonderful reports of healing increasing, so are pressing in for more! Healing is also needed for the land, and God is moving in this area as well. Read More...

MARCH PRAYER LEADER'S SUMMARY
13/03/08
The
call this month was so powerful. As we began to pray
it was like floodgates opening and the anointing
began to flow very quickly. One of the leaders was
given a vision: he saw a picture of a baggage
carousel (like you would see in an airport) and saw
suitcases that represented things the Lord had spoken
to us that we had not picked up in faith. The Lord
was saying, ’Äúthey are coming around again!’Äù There is
a second opportunity to take hold of that which the
Lord desires to give us and possess it. But some,
even though they see their suitcases passing by
again, don’Äôt have strength or grace at this time to
grab hold of them so others need to, in faith, lay
hold of them on their behalf in prayer. Others
confirmed this vision that this was a season where
past words need to be picked up.
Explosive Resurrection Season:
Everyone seems to be calling for the supernatural life of God to break through where there has been death, barrenness, and abortion. There is a sense that the gusher of Life is about to spring up if only we will dig a little deeper.

FEBRUARY PRAYER LEADER'S SUMMARY

Little Children, Love One Another:
The Lord has been speaking tenderly to the people of God, exhorting us to love one another. Encouraging us to listen deeply to each other’Äôs hearts and move into a new level of authentic love for each other. This love will take us into unity like nothing else can.
Maturity:
The Lord is calling us to not just grow up in love, but in all aspects of the character of Christ. He is also calling us to grow in maturity in our gifts and relationships. We cannot continue to indulge ourselves with soulish things and childish ways. It is time for Canada to step into her mature calling and take full responsibility as a nation that has come of age. The Flame has Been Lit:
There is a flame of prayer in the nation that has been lit and will not go out. Houses of Prayer are rising up all over Canada, and strong momentum is increasing. A leader from St John reports: I saw an open vision of an octagonal room that was very simple but lovely and in the center was a flame. People were gathering hour after hour to intercede with the purposed intent to tend the flame so that it would not go out. I heard the name "Keepers of the Flame" and knew that on-going intercession was what the Lord was calling for. I felt it was time for 24/7 intercession, the octagonal room, with a flame in the centre, speaks of the centrality of prayer in 2008 (octagonal).
