1. Revival- In the time of rain, ask for rain... Zec 10:1With the recent stirring of the Holy Spirit on Vancouver Island, this is a time to ask the Lord for rain of revival. Pray for the nation, but also your local city, to be swept into true revival. Pray for hunger to increase, consecration to be deep, and that we would be available to respond to God however He wants to move.
2. Breakthroughs- Significant breakthroughs to long-standing "impossible" conditions are being recorded as God moves on Vancouver Island. Strike the ground in prayer for any "impossible" situation in your life or family, it's time to believe again.
3. Life- Contend for media to begin to expose the lie that unborn children have no value, and to boldly shift toward a pro-life stance. Continue to pray for the government of Canada to have the courage to protect life with new legislation.
4. Unity- These are days when strong currents are seeking to break apart unity in the Body. Cry out for the Church of Canada to grow in unity in 2011. Pray for unity in families, churches and cities/regions as well as national unity.
5. Government- Continue to lift up the government of the nation to grow in righteousness. Pray for this at a federal level, (where most laws are made), but also at a provincial and municipal level as well. Pray for provinces to make wise and godly decisions regarding education, social services, aboriginal land claims, management of resources and more. Also see the 120 Days of Prayer initiative
6. Family- Pray for families especially through this holiday season, where the pain of broken or dysfunctional relationships is so acutely felt. Pray for family gatherings to be full of opportunities to share the love of God, and minister to the lonely and needy.

1. Government: There is a strong call to prayer for government at all levels, but especially federally at this time. During the True North national prayer conference in Winnipeg last month the word came forth from James Goll, calling for prayer through to Feb 12 (as the critical time). There are provincial and civic governments that are also in flux and in need of much intercession. Isa 28:16,17
2. Righteousness: Stand in the gap for an growth of righteousness in the body of Christ. The Lord desires for us to be strong in righteousness and filled with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. Isa. 11:2 This is one of the key plumb lines that God is restoring to the body at this time.
3. First Love: Contend for a true restoration of first love in the Church of Canada. The Lord is wooing us into a deeper and more passionate love for Him, and a hunger for His Presence. Cry out for Jesus to be always at the centre of all we do.
4. Natural Resources: Pray over the resources God has placed in our land, that they would be protected and stewarded with wisdom. A number of prophetic words indicate that there are more resources to be discovered, so pray that they will fall into righteous hands that will use them for Kingdom purposes.
5. Transition: So many are in the place of transition at this time. This can be very disorienting and can stir up feelings of insecurity. Pray for those that are in this process, that the peace of God would reign and in the midst of change we would joyfully trust God's plans for us.
6. Canada's Commitment to Israel: In recent days our Prime Minister has made a significant commitment to stand with Israel. This is obviously not a popular position in many circles, but God can change this! Pray for supernatural favour to be granted to our nation's relationship with Israel, and that Canadians everywhere will support our current government's decision in this regard.

2. Transition- As we have come to the end of a 10 year cycle, pray for those that are in the midst of transition and uncertain of what’Äôs next. Pray for a revelation of the goodness of God in the midst of change. Pray that each one will be correctly positioned relationally and functionally so we can grow up in all ways into Christ (Eph 4:15).
3. Consecration- Contend for a deeper consecration and surrender. Let the Church’Äôs garments blaze with the brightness of the glory of God, without spot or wrinkle. Pray for all sin to become abhorrent and compromise unthinkable, as we pursue a spirit of true holiness in our lives.
4. Faith- Stand in the gap for those wavering in their faith right now. Push back fear, unbelief and doubt as you pray. Ask the Father to release a gift of faith now into the Body for all that is ahead in this next season.
5. Government- Pray for our new Governor General and the federal government that they would walk in righteousness, compassion, humility and the fear of the Lord. Pray also for provincial governments that need God’Äôs wisdom and influence to make godly decisions. Pray for God’Äôs timing for the next election.

1. Boldness: The Lord is asking the Church in Canada to step up in boldness in this time. Boldness for witness, for truth without compromise, and bold faith to do exploits for God. Let's pray for courage to mantle the Church and for all fear, intimidation and especially the fear of man to break.
2. Alertness: Contend for a sharp clarity and alertness in the spirit to be granted to the Church for this season. Pray that distractions and slumber will not be able to dull our spirits, but there will be a high level of discernment and a readiness to obey. Let us be self-controlled and alert for the purpose of prayer (and action) in these days.
3. Bible: Pray for a new hunger for scripture to rise in the Body of Christ. Seek the Lord that the word be on our lips, the meditation of our heart, and that it would renew our minds. Pray for ministers and pastors across the nation, that as they study and seek God they would be given the riches of revelation from the word to feed their flocks with solid meat.
4. Quebec: Continue to intercede for Quebec, recent prophetic words indicate that harvest is very near. Let's stand with the believers in Quebec to break it open! Pray for spiritual hunger to rise in this province and for creative and impacting evangelism strategies to be given to the Church.
5. Healing for Nations: In the Chuck Pierce word that was given last month there is a decree that we would now step into the mandate of bringing healing to the nations. Pray for this to begin to manifest in greater and greater ways as we seek to be faithful with our calling and anointing.

1. Fire: There is a consistent prophetic discernment from all over the nation that days of fire are upon us. Days where we will be challenged to go deeper into our first love, personal holiness and awakened passion for Jesus. Pray for the Body to welcome the "spirit of burning" that would cleanse us of things of self and flesh, and draw us into the life and love we were made for. For some this may be a very painful shift, pray for great grace.
2. Humility: Canada has a significant role to play in blessing the nations, and we are staring to rise into it in greater ways. It is critical that we now embrace deep, genuine humility as a mantle upon the nation. Pray for those that are being tested by success, and face the temptation to take God's glory. Cry out for humility to mark the Church in Canada.
3. "No Name" Leaders: Pray for emerging Canadian leaders who don't have a high profile, but whom God is calling to step forward in this time and have so much to offer. They may even be reluctant to step up, but God is calling them! Pray for confidence, boldness and passion to be released so that they can take their place.
4. Holiness: Contend for a new level of the fear of the Lord to touch the Church of Canada. Pray for a willingness to walk in the light, in transparency and allow the blood of Jesus to continue to cleanse us form all our sin. Cry out that many would receive revelation of God's holiness which would shift us as it did for Isaiah in Isa 6:1.
5. Unity: Many prophetic words speak of massive spiritual shaking, storms and earthquakes in this next season. Stand in the gap that as things shake our relationships will stand, and that a spirit of division will not be able to get a foothold. Pray that the voice of the accuser will not come from the Body of Christ, but we will strengthen the weak, choosing to fight for each other in prayer and in compassion.

1. Unity: The Lord desires to increase the breadth and depth of the unity in the Body of Christ in Canada. Pray for unity to grow across ethnic and denominational boundaries. Contend for the strengthening of ministries and initiatives that God is using to bridge these gaps. Also pray that unity will go deeper and within our churches and families we will enter into new heart levels of unity.
2. Generosity: We celebrate the generous commitment of our government to impoverished mothers and children at the G8 summit. Let us align with this spirit of generosity and cry out that it will be embraced wholeheartedly, even sacrificially, by the Church. Pray for a rise of radical giving so the kingdom cycle of sowing a reaping will multiply in the Church.
3. Maturity: Pray for the Church in Canada to leave behind childish things, childish ways and to stand in maturity. Pray that the Lord helps us to become a nation of fathers and mothers, that can serve His purposes nationally, and internationally, rather than being self-focused.
4. Revelation: Pray that we will all grow in our capacity to hear the voice of God. Pray that the Church will be flooded with the revelation of the rhema of God, so that we can walk through shaking and darkness, with His word clearly lighting our path.
5. Waves of Glory: Many have been seeing prophetic visions of waves of glory rolling across the nation in this next season. Let's believe for this promise to be fulfilled, and for God to truly find a resting place for His glorious Presence in Canada, "the land of the north". Zec 5:8

1. 1st Peoples- With
the massive breakthrough for the First Peoples that
God has just secured, pray that the spiritual
momentum will continue to increase and that there
will be a growing ground swell of healing, freedom,
and restoration. Pray that new garments of joy,
dignity, and hope will be worn by the Aboriginal
people of Canada. Contend for an ongoing and enlarged
vision for what God can do now.
2. Let Us Transition Well- The most prevalent sound we are hearing in the nation is one of massive transition. Older, blessed, well-used wineskins are finished, new ones are right now emerging, transition is everywhere. Pray for those most deeply effected by these changes, that they will not seek to cling to old, that they will not be jealous or fearful of the new. Pray for those that are finding these times confusing and disorienting. Pray that faith, clarity and vision will break through. Pray that as leaders may be repositioned, that each will find their new mandate and walk in great grace. Read More...

1. Justice: This is a time to pray for God's justice to be established in our nation. To pray for those that have been long oppressed or victimised, through no fault of their own, to be freed, and blessed. Justice is the foundation of His throne, let's contend for it in prayer! Pray for the poor, the refugee, the abused- those that have had no voice.
2. Forgiven Summit/ Journey of Freedom: We cannot stress enough how spiritually important this Summit in Ottawa is for our nation. Unforgiveness is a huge mountain that has resisted the Kingdom of God, and we are now in a time where it is crumbling. Cry out to God and cover every aspect of this historic weekend, June 11-13. Pray also for every stop on the Journey of Freedom, leading up to the Summit.
3. Maritimes: The Lord has been speaking about the Maritimes and His desire to release the fire of His presence, especially in Nova Scotia. This word has come independently from a number of sources, so let's rise in faith and fervently pray for the fire to fall.
4. G8 & G20: As the nations gather for the second time this year in Canada let's worship the Lord of the Nations, and invite His glorious presence and kingdom to overshadow and invade the summit meetings June 25-27.
5. Restoration: We are in days where God is restoring what was lost. Pray for the restoration of anointings, mantles, relationships, visions, families. Whatever has been lost through the enemies' plundering or through our own foolishness and sin, (that God wanted us to have)- can be restored. Pray for the Church to walk in the humility and perseverance that leads to restoration.
6. Refreshing: Stand in the gap for those who are deeply weary. Pray for the ones that have been "running on empty", and desperately need to be refreshed and renewed in His presence. Pray that river that makes glad the city of God (Ps 46:4) will flow into all the dry places in the body of Christ.

2. Journey of Freedom: Continue to press in for the Journey of Freedom and the Forgiven Summit. Pray that this movement will continue to build, and thousands from the Aboriginal community will experience a deep touch of God's healing. 1. Take care of the Family: The Lord is highlighting in prayer our natural and spiritual families, and how important it is that we care for one another. Pray for strengthened natural families, that are united and full of the life of God. Contend also for a greater building of relationship and love in the spiritual family of the Body of Christ. May walls of offense, misunderstanding and estranged relationships come down!

Stand in the gap for the leaders in the Aboriginal Community that are pioneering this new path, and for a supernatural grace to forgive to permeate the nation.

1. Journey of Freedom- Let us engage powerfully in prayer for the Journey of Freedom that is beginning in Vancouver this week and moving across the nation. This is a journey to prepare for the "Forgiven Summit" this summer in Ottawa where First Peoples will be expressing their forgiveness to the Government of Canada for the residential schools.
2. Change of Garments- The Lord has been speaking repeatedly all over the nation that it is time to take off garments of sadness, depression, weariness, anything that is "grey", and be clothed with spiritual garments of vibrancy, life, victory and the glory of God. Pray for the Church of Canada to make this transition! Read More...
