CPC Roundtable

The Canadian Prophetic Council just met for a Roundtable and the Lord spoke very clearly through many of the seasoned and emerging prophetic voices in the nation. The over arching words were that there is a heightened importance on timing, on becoming more serious about the fear of the Lord and embracing His shaking and cleansing fire in our lives, churches and ministries, out of which will come new glory, authority and passion for Jesus. The Lord also highlighted the unique contributions of the First Peoples, and the need to continue to stand with Israel through the storms ahead.
Here is a sampling of one of the words that came through emerging prophet, Kirk Smith from Saint John, NB.
1 Cor 3:10-15
"By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds.
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work.
If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames."
I believe that The Master Builder has invited us at this point to ask Him to release an earlier fire. A fire that would come and visit this nation. Because I believe with all of my heart that this is a season of evaluation. And it's not so much an evaluation of what you can do or I can do, but it's an evaluation that He brings to the Body.
So Father I ask you for the soul of the nation and for the sake of a generation, Father would you release your grace over this nation. Would you release a grace of Fire. A visitation of Fire God. That would help us glimpse and peer into heaven's reality over our lives. From heaven's perspective, what does my heart look like before you Father?
Not from my own perspective, not from my peers, but from heaven's perspective. What does my heart look like before you? ...for we as a nation want to be found faithful to your heart. Father give us grace in this hour to, before anything else, to be found faithful to your heart.

The Sound of Light and Darkness

When I was recently in Mozambique I was prophesying about Moses, and of how he was the only one that would brave the darkness to get to the light. And there was thick darkness that surrounded the presence of God and the lightenings and the earthquake, and as I was prophesying I got to the part about the lightenings and the lights began to flicker on and off, but the sound stayed. And then when I got to the part about the darkness, and every light in the whole circuit blew, and because it was night we were in thick darkness, but the sound stayed, so it wasn't a power failure. It just blew out all the lights.
I kept prophesying in the darkness.

A Time for Thanks

We are overwhelmed with what God did in the Forgiven Summit. Join us in praying through, and worshiping with this psalm:
"When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."
The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. "

Fire in Nova Scotia

"Nova Scotia keeps popping up on the inside of me...
Right now I feel the fire of God, the yearning, longing heart of God for Nova Scotia. For those from Nova Scotia- the fire of God is going to hit your heart and you're going to burn, you're going to burn with the presence of God.
While some people call it a forgotten land, it's not forgotten by God.
And I say that there is a mantle [of prophetic intercession] that is coming upon Nova Scotia in the name of Jesus. And there shall be like barns that shall be filled with the light and the fire of God, but they are going to be like homes. Homes, new fresh home meetings. Home meetings where the fire of God falls in the name of Jesus. It'll be almost like a new house church type movement. Home to home, home to home. Connection to connection. It's not obviously going to be just in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick comes to me, and Newfoundland, that whole area. All through the Maritime provinces."

Awakening a City

I have had this picture in my mind since the beginning of the year, I saw the Lord gazing on His Bride and I felt His heart of love for her. I then saw Him bend down and kiss the Bride and she rose up fully awake, her old clothes fell to the ground and she was dressed in vibrant colours which carried the colours and glory of heaven. The story of Sleeping Beauty came to me, at her christening she was cursed and fell asleep for a hundred years and the only thing that would awaken her was if a man of pure heart fell in love with her and she received true love's kiss.
